Well, after MUCH anticipation, here they are!!! We have both regular COTTON T's and TECH T's for all you running types!

We are offering these LIMITED EDITION (always sounds better eh?) shirts as a major part of the fundraising efforts for this GRAND SLAM adventure. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING DIRECTLY TO THE CHARITIES.

Shipping will be extra (sent cheapest way) but as usual, pick up is on us!!! (Man, we are nice!). Well, decked out in our new gear from Sports4, H and I put in the 22km we needed to on Sunday. Gear worked well....trying Mizunos again, seem to feel good given I went with an EE width.
Another week of training then off to Manitoulin fr a week away from it all....ok, maybe not FB, Twitter and the blog!! LOL

Tools of the trade!

Well, it is Saturday and that means TWO things: No run planned today, and SHOPPING!
We are headed to Sports4 on Bank St. here in Ottawa to gear up. Sports4 is the official running store for this venture.

Shoes, socks, compression gear.... man, there will be a ton of gear, but all needed! Did you know that a pair of running shoes should last you 400-500 kilometers and most marathon training programs have you running 700+ kilometers?

So, you do the math... 1 fall marathon as preparation, 5 marathons in 2011 and maybe another one just for fun! Now THAT'S a lot of shoes!!!
